Tools for the job.

We love equipment. Who doesn’t? It’s through this passion for the best equipment in the industry that we’ve gained a wealth of hands-on experience and research-based knowledge. This also means we invest in the rights equipment for our studios, productions and clients. We don’t overspend on kit that achieves similar results and likewise, we don’t buy equipment that won’t prove to be a worthwhile investment.

We use this equipment in the real world, on real shoots, and with real clients. So we have the real hands-on experience to be able to provide you and your crew with advice that is relevant and evidence-based. From simple set-up and familiarisation to more in-depth insight and tips from our real-world application.

Great and small.

From the latest and greatest behemoth such as the Aputure 1200D and Nanlux 1200D to Cinema lenses from Canon and DZOFILM all the way to camera grip from Solid Grip Systems, Libec and Sachtler.

Our equipment spans across video production and photography, with mirrorless cameras and lenses such as the latest Canon EOS R5, EOS R6 and Fujifilm XT4.

We’re rarely short on anything a production might need. Sure, we can’t have everything in our arsenal of equipment, but in the off-chance we don’t have something in stock, through our network of suppliers and contacts, there is a good chance we can get hold of it.

 FAQs

  • We consider trusted partners to be production company’s, freelance creatives and agencies that can demonstrate they have a experience using professional, industry standard equipment. We’re not a huge company that can afford equipment loss or damage, so we need to be certain of whom were hiring our equipment to. That’s why we have an application process that is a little more strict than others.

  • Get in touch with us via our contact page and we will send you a form to complete that will give us a bit more information about you and your company. We’ll then need a brief call to go through your company and insurance details.

  • You’ll need ‘hired in equipment’ insurance which is sometimes called ‘plant hire’ insurance. This insurance will need to cover you against loss, damage or theft of any equipment your (or your company) have hired in (and do not own). This is not typically covered as standard by most insurance policies, so it’s worth getting in touch with your insurer first.

If you do not have insurance that covers hired in equipment then we recommend getting in touch with Performance Insurance

  • We’re really sorry if we weren’t able to approve you or your company as a trusted partner.

There are a wealth of reasons we might not be able to approve you including insufficient evidence of experience with professional equipment, lack of information about your company or insurance details or it might even be down to our insurers not agreeing to hire to your company,

In order to protect our equipment and our business, we do make sure we can confirm every detail before agreeing to hire. If you feel we’ve been unfair in our decision please get in touch.
